If there is anything more refreshing than a cool smoothie on a hot summer day, I don’t want to know what it is. A great way to add some yogurt, fruit, and vegetables to your diet, and stay hydrated all at the same time. We know that this recipe will make your kids big smoothie fans!

Summertime Smoothie
serves 6

1 cucumber, peeled and cut in chunks
1 large banana (about 1 cup), peeled and cut in chunks
2 cups plain yogurt (not non-fat)
2 cups whole strawberries, frozen
1 teaspoon lemon juice    

Place all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth.
Divide into six glasses and serve.
