8-12 oz hot water
¼ fresh lemon
1/2 to 1 Tablespoon grated fresh ginger, depending on desired strength
1 tsp honey
Bring water to a boil. In a coffee cup add fresh squeezed lemon juice (with lemon chunk if desired), fresh ginger, then 1 tsp honey. Add hot water. Stir, and enjoy.
It tastes great for cold days, and can be effective in healing sore throats and combating colds.
