Chef Marshall Around Town:
In April, Chef Marshall spoke at a Utah Department of Health stakeholders meeting about the importance of nourishing versus just feeding children and the long-term impact it has on both their physical and mental development. The meeting focused on early childhood care, nutrition and obesity prevention. Attendees included childcare, public health and Center for Disease Control staff. Chef also facilitated a 6-hour training session for childcare providers that included Smart Nutrition, marketing to strengthen family relationships and kitchen skills.
