Chef Marshall Around Town:

April has been a busy month for Chef Marshall and his team. Chef Marshall traveled to Omaha, Nebraska, to keynote and do breakout sessions at the Midwest Childcare Association’s spring conference. He spoke on the Power of Food and how the right foods can help create calmer kids and help make childcare providers’ days a little easier.  He also spoke at the Utah School Nutrition Programs spring meeting, hosted by the Utah Department of Education, discussing how implementing a school district-wide food philosophy lays the foundation for a nourishing strategy that helps students, teachers and everyone who interacts with the schools perform better in every aspect of their lives. Attendees at both conferences were eager to begin using Chef Marshall’s Look & Cook Cookbook, which features seasonal menus and child nutrition program-compliant recipes that include step-by-step photos for each recipe.
