Garlic Almond Asparagus

Servings: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh asparagus washed, woody ends removed
  • 2 tablespoons garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup almonds slivered, sliced or chopped and toasted

Instructions

  • Toss asparagus with sesame oil, garlic, salt and pepper in mixing bowl.
  • Cook as desired (broil, grill or sauté) for 5-7 minutes or until asparagus is bright in color and slightly tender.
  • Garnish with toasted almonds and serve.
