Garlic Almond Asparagus
Servings: 4 servings
- 1 pound fresh asparagus washed, woody ends removed
- 2 tablespoons garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/4 cup almonds slivered, sliced or chopped and toasted
- Toss asparagus with sesame oil, garlic, salt and pepper in mixing bowl.
- Cook as desired (broil, grill or sauté) for 5-7 minutes or until asparagus is bright in color and slightly tender.
- Garnish with toasted almonds and serve.
