Broccioli Carrot Saute
serves 2

1/2 T olive oil
1 C Broccoli, cut into florets
1 C Carrots, julienned
1 T onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 juice of fresh lemon, or to taste
1/2 T fresh basil or other fresh herbs, to taste

Clean and cut broccoli into florets, save the stems for snacks.
Peel carrots, slice thin at a bias into "chips", and cut chips into
strips. Use carrot chips for snack for later.
Saute onion and garlic in medium/high pan, and carrots &
broccoli until tender about 2-3 minutes. Finish with fresh herbs,
and lemon. Add more herbs or lemon juice to taste.
