Tomato Jalapeno Salsa

makes about 5 cups

3 ½  c. diced tomato
1 c. diced green pepper
½ c. white onion, diced
1  jalapeno pepper, diced and seeded (if desired to lessen heat)
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 tsp salt, to taste
2 T cilantro, chopped
2 tsp chili powder
2 tsp cumin
1 T fresh lime juice, to taste
Combine, taste, and adjust flavors as desired. If possible, let sit for 30 minutes before serving.
