A perfect new marinade for all your summer grilling needs. Works great with meat, fish, vegetables, or whatever you like!
Chinese Five-Spice Marinade
makes about 1–1/4 cups
1/4 cup garlic, minced
2 tablespoons fresh ginger
1 cup green onions, thinly sliced
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 teaspoon Chinese five-spice powder
1 tablespoon honey
1-2 pounds meat or vegetables of choice
In large bowl mix garlic, ginger, green onions, soy sauce, five-spice powder and honey.
Add meat/vegetables to marinade and let sit for at least one hour, the longer the better.
Cook by stir-frying, roasting, broiling or grilling.
For chicken breasts, pre-heat oven to 400 degrees.
Place marinated meat on foil–lined sheet pan, and place on top rack.
Cook meat for 15-20 minutes or to desired doneness.
